Clients are the companies that invite you to bid: general contractors, owners, developers, architects and property managers. Each client has contacts. Every opportunity links to one or more clients, each with a point of contact.

Where to find it

Sidebar: Clients (under Network).

The Clients page

  • Add Client opens a form with Name, Client type, Location, Web Domain and contacts.
  • Search by name, location or contact, filter by type, and sort by recent activity, name, most wins or most opportunities.
  • Show blocked shows clients you have blocked.
  • Each card shows the number of bids, wins and the win rate.

Click a card to open the client:

ColumnWhat it holds
Bid Portals and teamLinks to where this client posts bids (BuildingConnected, PlanHub, Procore and others), with notes. Never store passwords here. Plus the client's contacts.
Activity FeedThe client's projects and interactions
AnalyticsBids and projects over time

Send Message emails one or more of the client's contacts. Link it to an opportunity so it is logged on that bid's Messages tab. A message sent without a linked opportunity is not logged anywhere.

The web domain matters

Tidy uses the client's web domain to match forwarded invites to the right client. Add it whenever you can.

Blocked clients

Block a client you never bid for. New invites from them stay out of your Undecided list and the weekly unresolved report. Bids you already accepted stay visible.

Several clients on one bid

On a bid's Overview, the Clients card adds more clients, picks the primary one and sets each one's contact. Proposals, submissions and broadcast emails go to each client separately.

Who can do what

Anyone can add and edit clients and contacts. Only admins can delete a client. Admins also manage clients in Admin > Settings > Clients.

What the agent can do

The agent can search clients, show bid and win stats per client, and create or update clients, contacts and portal links. Over MCP it can also link clients to bids and set the primary client. It cannot delete a client permanently.
